Kansas City is experiencing an unusual heat wave. I will suggest other painting spots you may want to try. Cabela's Sports has a wonderful selection of taxidermy animals to use as very still 'models'. :) When school is not in session, it will be a great time to go out and ask for permission to paint. I know from experience, you can very easily sketch in 'stealth mode' with watercolors. I will post some photos from a painting experience this week in Leadville CO. High temps in the 70s, low in the 40s. So if you can travel, you may want to get out of the heat and enjoy the cooler temperatures in other regions.
